Rock Legend Bruce Springsteen Orders Five Dozen Hot Dogs from Long Branch Eatery

Bruce Springsteen visited Max’s Bar and Grill in Long Branch, NJ, on Saturday, where he ordered five dozen hot dogs to go. The bar manager, Mary Kate Schiller a fan of Springsteen, managed to snap a photo with the rock legend after packing up his order, which included buns, sauerkraut, and spicy red relish. Springsteen’s visit was a low-key affair, with the legendary musician blending in like any other customer. Schiller recounted the moment when the singer approached the counter. The young hostess, who didn’t recognize him, asked Schiller to assist with his order. “When I realized who it was, I tried my best to treat him like any other guest,” Schiller said. Despite the effort, she admits to feeling flustered when Springsteen placed an order for five dozen hot dogs—uncooked. Schiller remarked, “He looks the same in person as he does from the last row in MetLife Stadium.”
