Fire Pit Fridays Return to Willow Creek Winery with Music, Wine, and Vineyard Vibes
Willow Creek Winery is bringing back one of its most beloved traditions with the return of Fire Pit Fridays. On select Friday evenings from 4 to 8 p.m., guests are invited to relax on the Vineyard Bar patio and enjoy live music performed by some of Cape May’s favorite local talents. The event offers an ideal setting to unwind, featuring cozy fire pits, vineyard views, and a rotating lineup of performers. Attendees can enjoy wine by the glass, shareable plates, and the vibrant atmosphere that comes with good music and great company. Seating is first come, first served, so early arrival is encouraged for the best spots. The schedule is listed here in the event section but it can also be found at the WCW website.

USDA Declares Drought Disaster in South Jersey, Offers Emergency Loans to Farmers

Four South Jersey counties—Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, and Gloucester—have been designated as primary natural disaster areas by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) following prolonged drought conditions that lasted eight or more weeks last year. The USDA also declared Burlington, Camden, Ocean, and Salem counties as contiguous disaster areas, extending certain aid options to those regions as well. Farmers in these areas can now apply for emergency USDA loans to recover losses. The application deadline is December 8, 2025.
