Beloved North Wildwood Bar Won’t Reopen for Summer 2025

North Shore Bar and Kitchen in North Wildwood is permanently closing and will not reopen for summer 2025. After shutting down post-2023 for renovations, the owner has decided to put the venue up for sale. The decision to sell comes as a disappointment to many longtime patrons who frequented the bar during summer vacations, some recalling favorite menu items like fried pickles and cherished memories of live performances and late-night cocktails. The closure marks the end of a beloved nightlife staple in the Anglesea area, known for its live music, signature drinks, and summer beach vibes.
Cape May Rally Calls Out ‘Betrayal’ of Ukraine as War Drags On

Over 140 protesters gathered in Cape May on March 29 to condemn the U.S. government's reduced support for Ukraine. The demonstration included a march, powerful speeches, and a symbolic "die-in" at Rotary Park. Many participants criticized recent political decisions, including a White House meeting that preceded the suspension of aid to Ukraine. Local leaders, including Mayor Zach Mullock, voiced support for Ukraine and warned against abandoning democratic allies. The event marked the fourth major protest in Cape May County since the Trump administration began in January.
