North Wildwood Mayor Patrick Rosenello Won’t Seek Re-Election After 10 Years of Service

After serving as North Wildwood mayor for ten years, Patrick Rosenello announced he will not run for re-election. Known for his leadership during storms, the pandemic, and coastal challenges, Rosenello championed beach protection and city improvements. Though stepping away from the mayor’s office, Rosenello isn’t leaving local government. He announced his intention to run for a seat on City Council, where he hopes to continue contributing to North Wildwood’s growth and resilience from a new vantage point. His decision marks a turning point in city leadership, but also signals his ongoing commitment to the community he has helped shape. As the city looks toward new leadership, Rosenello’s legacy will remain deeply rooted in the progress made over the past ten years.

Atlantic City Casino Boss Prepares for Role as U.S. Envoy to Italy

Tilman Fertitta, owner of Golden Nugget Atlantic City and chairman of Fertitta Entertainment, has announced he will resign from his casino business if confirmed as U.S. ambassador to Italy and San Marino. Nominated by President Donald Trump, Fertitta made the announcement in a letter to the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, citing potential conflicts of interest. While stepping back from his company, he will retain passive ownership and continue to own the Houston Rockets. The Golden Nugget remains a major player in Atlantic City’s online gaming market, though it lags in in-person casino earnings. Any new company leadership will require state regulatory approval.
