Public Input Needed: Wildwood Boardwalk Redevelopment Plan Under Review
Wildwood officials are considering a redevelopment plan for a large portion of the Boardwalk area. A public hearing is scheduled for March 10, 2025, to determine if the properties meet the criteria for redevelopment. If the Planning Board determines that the area qualifies for redevelopment, they will recommend the designation to the City Commission. If approved, the properties would become part of a Non-Condemnation Redevelopment Area, meaning the City would not have the authority to seize properties through eminent domain.
After Years of Construction, Edelman Fossil Park Announces Grand Opening

The Edelman Fossil Park & Museum in Mantua will open to the public on March 29, after construction delays. The 44,000-square-foot facility, funded in part by a $25 million donation from Jean and Ric Edelman, will feature fossil digs, virtual reality experiences, and interactive exhibits. The site has yielded over 100,000 fossils, including mosasaurs, sea turtles, and prehistoric crocodiles. Visitors will also see a recreation of Dryptosaurus, the first discovered tyrannosaur. Tickets are now available for the highly anticipated grand opening.
