Democratic Candidate Steve Sweeney Promises Tax Relief in NJ

Democratic candidate for New Jersey governor Steve Sweeney pledged not to introduce new taxes or raise existing ones during a radio interview. The former Senate president emphasized cutting costs instead of increasing state revenue through taxation. He pointed to his past efforts in tax reductions as proof of his commitment. Sweeney is one of six Democratic contenders in a competitive primary race leading up to the June 10 election. With a crowded field in both parties, Sweeney's tax pledge could set him apart as he seeks to position himself as a candidate focused on economic discipline and cost-cutting solutions.
Aviation Spectacle Over the Shore: Wildwood’s Inaugural Airshow Announced

It’s official, Wildwood will host its first-ever airshow, "Wildwoods Thunder Over the Ocean Airshow," on September 5-6, 2025. While the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels are unavailable, other jet teams are being pursued. If successful, the city hopes to make it an annual event.
