From Food to Retail, Eagles’ Super Bowl Run Brings Big Business to South Jersey

South Jersey is celebrating the Eagles’ Super Bowl run with pep rallies, themed food, and booming business. The Battleship New Jersey hosted a pre-game event featuring former Eagles star Corey Clement, while local stores have seen increased demand for team gear and party supplies. ShopRite is offering Eagles-themed treats, and cannabis sales have spiked on game days. Retailers and event organizers have worked quickly to capitalize on the Eagles’ success, with the Battleship New Jersey rally coming together in just two days. With fans eagerly anticipating a potential championship, businesses are seizing the opportunity to engage with the community and boost sales. Retailers across the region have stocked up on team-themed decorations and are eagerly anticipating an even bigger celebration if the Eagles bring home another Super Bowl victory.
NJ GOP Primary Heats Up as Spadea Faces Accusations of Misusing Funds

Bill Spadea, a Republican candidate for New Jersey governor, is being criticized for paying himself $65,000 from political donations while still working as a radio host. Rival Jack Ciattarelli accused Spadea of misleading small-dollar donors, citing IRS records. Spadea defended the payments, arguing they covered campaign-related expenses and were disclosed. The debate over Spadea’s financial practices highlights the growing tensions in the New Jersey GOP primary as candidates compete for voter trust. The controversy could play a key role in shaping the race leading up to the 2025 election.
