Mystery Drones in New Jersey: Trump to Address Public Concerns After Inauguration

President-elect Donald Trump has promised to release information about mysterious drones spotted along the East Coast, particularly in New Jersey, immediately after taking office. The issue has raised public concerns since late last year. Congressman Jeff Van Drew, who previously speculated that the drones could be linked to foreign actors, welcomed Trump's pledge for transparency. Federal officials, including the Pentagon, have maintained that the drones pose no immediate danger, though their origins remain a mystery.
Winter Caution: New Jersey Police Warn Against Walking on Frozen Ponds

New Jersey officials warn residents to stay off frozen ponds and lakes despite the frigid temperatures, noting that ice conditions can be dangerously unpredictable. Ice thickness can vary widely, and snow-covered ice is especially risky. Authorities recommend only skating at rinks or officially designated safe areas and urge parents to teach children about the dangers of walking on frozen bodies of water. In case of an emergency, residents should call 911 and avoid attempting rescues themselves.
