Cape May County Zoo Mourns Loss of Beloved Red Panda, David Bowie

David Bowie, a beloved red panda at the Cape May County Zoo, has died from mesenteric torsion, a nearly always fatal condition. The red panda was known for his love of Craisins and playful nature. Bowie was described as incredibly affectionate, enjoying time and attention from his keepers. "He will be deeply missed by our entire zoo family," the zoo said in a heartfelt statement. The zoo remains closed this week due to snow and ice, they look to reopen on Monday the 13th.
