 The Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA) earned a 2024 New Jersey Tourism Excellence Award for its innovative truck billboard advertising campaign. Targeting Metro Philadelphia and New York Metro markets, the campaign reached nearly 895,000 people and achieved over 1.2 million impressions at a low cost. This recognition comes as the Wildwoods report record-breaking tourism revenue growth, with direct spending surpassing $374 million during summer 2024.

Wildwood E-Bike Crash Turns Fatal, Authorities Request Public’s Help

A 51-year-old man died in an e-bike crash in Wildwood on December 28. The incident occurred at approximately 5:51 p.m. at the intersection of Pacific and East Magnolia Avenues. Police officers arrived on the scene to find the man had succumbed to his injuries. Details surrounding the crash remain unclear, with investigators continuing to piece together the events leading up to the fatal accident. The Wildwood Police Department is urging anyone with information to assist their investigation by calling 609-522-0222.
