The Enduring Journey of The Tiny Star: A Cape May Christmas Tale

Art Ginolfi’s Christmas book The Tiny Star, written in 1993, has sold over 500,000 copies. In 2019, the story returned to Cape May County with a live performance by the Seven Mile Players children’s theater group at Stone Harbor’s municipal Christmas tree lighting. Over 1,000 attendees enjoyed the heartwarming adaptation of the timeless tale. The story follows Starlet, who becomes the Star of Bethlehem, and has touched readers worldwide. Ginolfi continues to pursue an animated adaptation and musical projects, aiming to share his story’s message of faith and hope through new platforms.

Ocean Bay Coastal Grille & Bar Closes, Building Listed for $3.3 Million

The Ocean Bay Coastal Grille & Bar in North Wildwood has closed due to a denied liquor license, with its building and adjoining home listed for sale at $3.3 million. The listing has been active since October, attracting attention for its modernized features and potential, though the property’s future as a restaurant or other venture remains uncertain. The property, extensively renovated in 2018, features modern interiors, a large bar and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The closure and sale have prompted speculation about the restaurant’s future, as the site has been home to several establishments over the years.

Loose Dog Kills Two Pomeranians, Injures Two More on Evening Walk

A dog has been placed in quarantine following a fatal attack on other dogs being walked on North Richards Avenue in Ventnor Tuesday evening. The incident, which occurred around 7 p.m., resulted in the deaths of two Pomeranians and injuries to two others, as well as minor injuries to their owner. The dog’s owner, cited for negligence, is unlikely to reclaim the animal, which may be euthanized after a 10-day quarantine.

Answer to the December 25th Trivia Question

Which of the following dates has the potential to overlap for both Christmas and Hanukkah, depending on the lunar calendar?

A) December 1st
B) December 25th
C) December 10th
D) December 31st

Answer: B) December 25th

OK when you take into account yesterday, this one was obvious! For the first time since 2005, the first night of Hanukkah fell on the same day as Christmas. The two winter holidays converge an average of five times a century, according to Rabbi Joseph Potasnik, Executive Vice President of the New York Board of Rabbis.
