 Santa Trackers: Real-Time Magic for Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is here, families everywhere eagerly await Santa’s arrival. Thanks to modern technology, platforms like NORAD and Google make it easier than ever to follow Santa’s magical journey in real time. Santa’s schedule is tightly packed, with visits beginning as soon as children are asleep. Based on past data from trackers like NORAD, Santa typically reaches New Jersey around 10 p.m. before moving to Pennsylvania and Delaware by 11 p.m. Leveraging time zones, he completes his U.S. deliveries around midnight.
Families have several options for tracking Santa's progress:

  • Google Santa Tracker: Featuring a real-time Christmas countdown, festive music, and animations, the Google tracker goes live early on Christmas Eve, showing Santa’s location in real time.

  • NORAD Tracks Santa: Operating since 1959, NORAD uses its global tracking capabilities to provide live updates on Santa’s whereabouts.

Most Santa trackers begin their live coverage around 4 a.m. Eastern on Christmas Eve and continue until every gift is delivered!

Cape May Sixth Grader Stars Alongside Nicole Kidman in New Film

 Skylar Matthews, a 12-year-old from Cape May, has a featured role in the new movie Babygirl starring Nicole Kidman, premiering nationwide on Christmas Day. Despite her young age, Skylar has built a substantial acting resume, including roles in Annie and FBI. She filmed her scene for Babygirl in February, spending a memorable day with Nicole Kidman. Skylar’s Cape May community, including her teachers and classmates, has been overwhelmingly supportive of her acting journey. While she balances school with her career, including tutoring during her time on the road, her passion for performing continues to grow. Although Skylar can’t watch the R-rated film herself, her Cape May community is proud of her accomplishments.

Unusual Discovery: Body Located Inside Refrigerator in South Jersey State Forest

 A body was found inside a refrigerator in Belleplain State Forest on December 22, 2024. Dennis Township Mayor Zeth Matucci stated that state police are actively investigating the incident and assured residents that there is no threat to public safety. The investigation remains ongoing. Belleplain State Forest, established in 1928, spans over 21,000 acres across Cape May and Cumberland counties. It offers various recreational activities, including hiking, camping, and birding, and is known for its diverse habitats, such as saltwater marshes and mixed hardwood swamps.
