Ghost Tours and Paranormal Investigations at Atlantic City's Absecon Lighthouse

The Absecon Lighthouse in Atlantic City is inviting visitors for a ghostly experience, where eerie tales and paranormal activities come to life. Known for its rich history, the lighthouse is rumored to be haunted by past keepers and even the infamous Jersey Devil, with unexplained sights, sounds, and smells reported over the years. The SyFy show Ghost Hunters even investigated the site to explore these strange occurrences. On select evenings, the New Jersey Researchers of Paranormal Evidence (NJ ROPE)  will be conducting guided tours and a paranormal investigation at the lighthouse. The tours will delve into the spooky history of the site, including ghost stories and evidence collected during past investigations, such as mysterious recordings and videos. Participants will have the chance to climb the lighthouse tower and explore the grounds while learning about its past. After the tours at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., NJ ROPE will host a special paranormal investigation at 8 p.m., where guests can join in using ghost-tracking equipment to search for supernatural signs. Tickets are $25 for the hour-long tours and $50 for the two-and-a-half-hour ghost hunt. Reservations are required by calling 609-449-1360.
