2025 Barefoot Country Music Fest: Lainey Wilson Confirmed as Headliner

 Lainey Wilson has been announced as one of the headliners for the 2025 Barefoot Country Music Fest in Wildwood, NJ, taking place from June 19-22. As the reigning CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year, her performance will be one of the festival's major highlights. This marks Wilson’s second appearance at Barefoot, with additional headliners and over 40 artists set to be announced soon.

Sea Isle Man Sentenced to Probation for Assaulting TV Personality Bob Kelly

 Patrick Iannone was sentenced to three years of probation for assaulting Philadelphia TV personality Bob Kelly at a charity event in 2022. The judge warned that if Iannone doesn't address his substance abuse issues, he will face prison. Iannone has expressed remorse and is undergoing treatment, while the prosecutor labeled him a "bully" acting out of entitlement. Iannone’s past legal troubles were also addressed during the hearing, including a prior assault and an alcohol-related incident. As part of his probation, Iannone is required to undergo alcohol treatment, anger management counseling, and pay $5,000 in restitution to Kelly.

Motorcyclist Killed, Passenger Critically Injured in Route 47 Crash in Cape May County

A motorcycle accident in Middle Township claimed the life of Robert Pfaff III and left a female passenger critically injured. The crash occurred Wednesday on Route 47 near Bayway Marina when an SUV made a left turn in front of the motorcycle on Route 47. The Middle Township Police, along with the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, are investigating the incident.

Wheeler Dominates, But Phillies' Bats and Bullpen Fall Short in Game 1 Loss

 The Phillies lost Game 1 of the NLDS to the Mets 6-2, with a strong outing by Zack Wheeler undone by a bullpen collapse in the eighth inning. The Mets capitalized on several mistakes to score five runs late in the game, while the Phillies' bats remained largely quiet, save for a leadoff home run by Kyle Schwarber. The defeat marked the Phillies' third consecutive postseason loss, leaving them in need of a rebound as they prepare for Game 2 on Sunday.
