🔥Ocean City Tragedy: House Fire Claims Life of Local Homeowner
Ronald Reichenbach
In a tragic incident in Ocean City, the individual who lost his life in a recent house fire has been identified by the authorities as Ronald Reichenbach, aged 63, who also owned the property. The fire occurred at Reichenbach's Asbury Avenue residence on Wednesday morning around 10:45 a.m. He was found deceased on an outdoor stairway landing of his home. The investigations into both the cause of his death and the fire itself are ongoing, conducted by local police and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.

Sea Isle City Announces First Tax Rate Hike in Seven Years Amid Rising Costs
Sea Isle City's 2024 budget proposes an 11% increase in the local purpose tax rate to address inflation-induced cost surges and fund essential services, including enhanced support for first responders and seasonal employees. This adjustment, marking the first in seven years, is deemed necessary to sustain service levels without raising water and sewer rates.
