Clocks Fall Back on November 3 as Daylight Saving Time Ends for 2024
On November 3, daylight saving time ends, and clocks will be set back one hour as we return to Eastern Standard Time. The change marks the transition from summer’s extended daylight to winter’s shorter days, impacting sleep patterns, daily routines, and evening activities. DST was initially created to conserve energy, but its benefits are now debated. While some argue it boosts economic activity and public safety, others question its relevance. The shift to darker evenings and cooler temperatures signals the approach of winter.
